If you want a change from targetting Priory Farm Lakes' bigger residents, the Moat Pond offers great pleasure fishing for carp, roach and rudd.


		The Lake: The Moat Pond at Priory Farm is a superb, well stocked lake built in 2000. Built in the style of a canal, anglers cross a small bridge to fish from the island towards the outer bank. The narrow canal-style lake makes accurate bait-presentation a piece of cake. canal-style fishing 170 metres of banks 4ft deep 17 swims on the island stocked with carp to 5lbs, roach and rudd excellent venue for juniors

		All match style fishing techniques work well on the Moat Pond. Ideally suited to pole or waggler fishing, tight to the far bank. Use light tackle and small hookbaits such as maggots, pellets, bread and corn.
